Ansys Digital Engineering Partner Conference in Munich – Panel Discussion on Digital Transformation
Today I had the pleasure of taking part in the Digital Engineering Panel Discussion as part of the Ansys Digital Engineering Partner Conference at BMW World in Munich.
With Timmo Sturm (Accenture), Tino Krueger (Deloitte), Michele Del Mondo (PTC), we were entertainingly and expertly moderated by Sebastien Allibert (Ansys).
Our discussion was motivated by the Digital Transformation in Engineering:
- With the measurable targets of Shortening Development Time,
- Reducing Hardware Prototypes and their Costs and
- Increasing Product Maturity through Shift Left: Virtual Validation <- Test bench Validation <- Road based Validation.
Our discussion focused on: Strategies and Best Practice in MBSE, Data Infrastructure and Ecosystem, Software Defined Vehicle, AI driven Engineering and Workforce & Culture
The Results were aspects such as the relevance of Change Management, Digital Courage, Open Collaboration Standards and ecosystems as well as BMW’s demand formulated at the beginning: Best In Integration.
Thank you Stephen Heilbronner (BMW) for the presentation and demand, thanks to Scott Parent (Ansys) and Georg Doll (Microsoft) for the keynote inspirations, thank you colleagues for the open and exciting discussion and thank you Sebastien for great organization and moderation.
