On Saturday a childhood dream came true.

The highlight of my business trip from Shanghai to Beijing was visiting Jiangsu University and its Mechanical Engineering faculty.
The university president, Prof. Dr. Hongbo Li, performed the Professor Appointment Ceremony.

I gave my inaugural lecture on the topic of Digital Engineering – Data, Simulation, and AI-Driven.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the university and its staff,
especially the President, Prof. Dr. Hongbo Li,
the Dean of Mechanical Engineering, Prof. Dr. Zhongqiang Zhang,
the Director of International Office Prof. Dr. Yong Cui,
my friend Prof. Dr. Shutao Li,
and all the professors and project managers involved.
